Advocate Mrs. Asha Barak - Founding Partner
Advocate Asha Barak is the Founding Member of Barak Legacy Law Chambers and a highly respected legal professional with over four decades of distinguished experience, having been enrolled with the Bar Council since 1981.
She holds a B.A. LL.B. along with a Master’s degree in Economics, bringing a strong combination of legal expertise and economic insight to her practice. She practices at the Punjab & Haryana High Court and the Delhi High Court, and is widely recognized as one of the pioneering women practitioners in the Gurugram District Courts.
Her core practice area lies in corporate and strategic legal advisory, where she advises and represents public sector undertakings (PSUs), corporates, and individuals on complex legal and business matters. In addition to her advisory work, she has extensive experience in civil and criminal litigation, including property disputes, matrimonial matters, and other contentious issues, offering comprehensive representation across forums.
She has also served as an Ex-Judicial Member of the Consumer Forum, reflecting her strong adjudicatory experience and deep understanding of dispute resolution mechanisms.

Advocate Mrs. Chandni Barak - Partner
Advocate Chandni Barak, based out of Mumbai, brings over 15 years of substantial experience in corporate and dispute resolution practice, advising a diverse portfolio of clients including startups, emerging enterprises, and established corporates. She acts as a strategic legal advisor, providing end-to-end counsel on complex legal and regulatory matters.
Her core areas of practice include employment, labour and benefits advisory, edtech sector advisory, dispute resolution, and cross-border transactions. She has developed considerable expertise in corporate and commercial law, intellectual property, white-collar crime, internal investigations, and corporate restructuring.
Chandni regularly advises on regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and governance frameworks, and represents clients in high-value and sensitive disputes across judicial and quasi-judicial forums. Her approach is grounded in a strong understanding of both legal principles and commercial realities.
She is recognised for her structured, solution-driven approach and her ability to navigate complex legal issues with precision, delivering pragmatic and effective outcomes aligned with her clients’ strategic objectives.
Advocate Mr. Gaurav Barak - Partner
Advocate Gaurav Barak brings over 14 years of extensive experience in civil and criminal litigation, representing a diverse clientele ranging from individuals to corporate entities across India. His practice is distinguished by a strong focus on delivering result-oriented and client-centric legal solutions.
He has developed significant expertise in handling complex criminal matters, including anticipatory bail, defence in criminal prosecutions, and proceedings under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881. His civil practice encompasses property disputes, contractual matters, and consumer-related disputes, where he combines procedural precision with a pragmatic approach to dispute resolution.
Gaurav is known for his ability to navigate intricate legal challenges with clarity, strategic foresight, and meticulous preparation.
